Civil Engineer

Job Description:
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing civil engineering projects from conception through completion. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs and specifications for civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water systems, and buildings.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate project feasibility and identify potential issues.
- Prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment and compliance.
- Ensure that all projects meet relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications. Address any issues that arise during construction.
- Perform technical analyses, including structural, hydraulic, and geotechnical assessments.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and contracts. Prepare progress reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve engineering problems and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and standards.
- Experience in generating Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Familiarity with ADDC/TAQA civil specifications.
- Proficiency in cost estimation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil activities related to electric substations.

Planning Engineer

Job Description:
As a Planning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, manage resources, and monitor progress. Your expertise will help us deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules using project management software
- Estimate and allocate resources effectively, monitoring utilization and making adjustments as needed.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets, track expenses, and provide recommendations for cost control.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and update project plans to address changes.
- Track project progress, prepare progress reports, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders and resolve issues that arise.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and implement quality control processes.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and codes.
- Analyze completed projects to identify lessons learned and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in planning activities for electrical infrastructure substation work.
- Experience in planning of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) activities
- Experience for civil planning activities.
- Minimum 3 years of experience using Primavera software
